Chickens have been one of our passions for a very long time. They make a great addition to our farm, are an easy pet to keep, and give us delicious eggs in return. They also rid us of spiders, ticks, mosquitoes, snakes, and even mice. They are great to have in any garden or backyard, and make nice lawn ornaments!

     Although we now primarily hatch our own chicks every year, it all started with only 6 chicks. We now house a variety of breeds, each producing a different size, shape, and color of egg. We even house many geese and ducks, whose eggs are great for baking.

     We have been raising chickens for many years now, but each year is every bit as exciting as the last. Every year is a time to try a new breed, get more of an old one, or create our very own.
